The fifth meetup for Amazon Alexa San Francisco will feature three presentations focused on monitoring and analytics tools for Alexa skills.
The speakers will cover a range of topics in this area including monitoring Lambda functions, analyzing usage of your skills, and delivering insights around how users use your skills.
Michael Ford, Senior Site Reliability Engineer from IOpipe, will share some his experiences on monitoring your Lambda functions through advanced monitoring and metrics. This helps better understand the performance implications when writing Lamdas for your Alexa environments.
John Kelvie, Founder of Bespoken, will talk about building skills with the Alexa AudioPlayer API – one of the more useful, but less well-understood, parts of the platform. He will show how the Bespoken development and monitoring tools help with the full dev life-cycle, from initial coding and debugging through testing and into ongoing operations and management.
Justina Nguyen, Developer Evangelist from Dashbot, will discuss the importance of using analytics to refine Skills. She will share key metrics developers should focus on while building their Skills.
