IBT – Google Hires From The Onion, Pixar to Write Jokes for Assistant

IBT – Google wants consumers to have a “human connection” with its Google Assistant. The company recently hired writers from news satire organization, The Onion, and computer animation film studio, Pixar, to write jokes for its digital helper. Apple’s Siri and Amazon’s Alexa already have a repertoire of jokes programmed in, but Google hopes hiring funny expert will make its Assistant the most relatable to consumers. LINK
